A lot of people like to think painting is an easy do it yourself kind of job. Well, it’s not ,unless you have had at least a few years of professional painting experience of your own. You also wouldn’t want to get paint all over your carpet, furniture, windows, etc and have it ruined. There are also the possibilities of streaks, misses, ropes, runs, and all of the other horrible things that can and will go wrong if doing the painting yourself. When you hire a professional paint contractor she/he will guarantee the job will be done in a timely fashion and to your liking. They also already have the best equipment to get your job done well already so you don’t have to go out and buy all the cheap stuff DIY’ers usually do. A good paint job is only as good as the products used and more importantly what painting contractor is doing the work.
A big mistake is hiring the neighbor kid to come paint your house for 50 bucks. This will only make your house much worse lol. Another bad idea is going strictly for the lowest price. There is probably a reason this person is doing the work for almost nothing so you better check their references.
